HEALTHCARE

The Committee contributes to legislative and policy discussions in the UK and the EU, as well as serving to maintain relationships between businesses and decision makers. It represents members interests, delivers insight into current and upcoming legislation, promoting equal access to healthcare and a competitive health ecosystem, and provides access to legislators and decision makers. 


Regular events:


  • Briefings with crucial drivers of change within health and healthcare joined by speakers from Governments and from the industry.  
  • Panel discussion that hears of the priorities from Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) from the European Parliament.   
  • Discussions of vital topics such as the Pharmaceuticals strategy, EU action on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) under the General Pharmaceutical Legislation and the move towards Sustainable health systems.
